not getting awards

Clearly two of my images should have awards for 2-25 & they don't! I should have  at #3 & one @ #5. Why didn't I receive them?

Chris, I don't work for Pixoto, but I think can answer your question. There are only 18 entries for Babies and Children on 2-25. There may have been more earlier, but some users remove their images or restart them and they end up on a different day or not at all if deleted. With 18 images only three awards are given. At the time that the awards were issued, I suspect that your top image was in the number 4 position. I see that one of the other images has the #3 award even though it now has a lower image score than yours. The position that images hold on the leader board are fluid. Awards are given at a very specific moment (10 AM in the central time zone of the US). Once awards are given, they are set even though the image may move higher or lower on the leader board. One additional award was given that day, a "Rising Star" given to newer users who did well, but not well enough for a daily award. Those are meant to encourage new users to keep trying.

  • Hello Chris, since there were only 19 images at the time awards were assigned, only the top 3 places could get awards. And at the time awards were assigned (3 pm GMT) your images didn't get enough score for awards. The score changed since awards were assigned, so at this moment leaderboard is different then it was at 3pm, and can change as images get more duels.

    I hope this helps.
