Back and forward arrows on profile photos

Can you please put 'forward' and 'back' arrows on the photos that are in peoples profile. It would be so much easier to use these arrows to view my photos in a larger format. At present, I click on a profile photo then have to use the website 'back button' (top left of my computer) to get back to my profile, totally annoying when arrows could work better, thanks.

Jasenka, wouldn't it be more fair to inform those who make development suggestions that Pixoto is in a maintenance mode and that approvements of the site aren't likely to be made anymore or at least not any time soon.

    • Jasenka. Even at Pixoto's peak of success 2-3 years ago the management was very reluctant to take suggestions under consideration that were made by the members. At that point I remember clearly I myself sent a long list of really well thought suggestions to the management and I didn't even get a "thank you" for my input. The suggestions I made were all easy to implement (that much I understand coding) and all my suggestions would have clearly improved the using of the site. For example, not to this date is it possible to look at your own images in reversed order, beginning from the images with least points. If you have a portfolio with thousands of images it's very time-consuming to scroll down all your images in search of those that you perhaps would like to resubmit. Another thing that would be very appreciated would be a list of all images you yourself could resubmit, that is the ones without an award that hasn't gotten a placing 1-10 or a 5 % contest award. It's also still not possible to remove all images from the market with one command although it's possible to add all images to the market like that. If you for some reason want to remove some or all images from the market you have to click every single one of your images and make the change separately. This all makes no sense to me. Last time I pointed this out to you I was sent a long of all kinds of improvements that had been done for the site. This list contained the amount of improvements that any prosperous site does every year or even more frequently. I've been a loyal and active member of Pixoto since 2013. Because of many site related problems, e.g. the huge amount of repetitive and too similar images, I didn't submit any new images during the last couple of years. This year I wanted to return but very quickly it became obvious to me that nothing had changed for the better - quite the opposite. Even though I fully understand (but dislike) that Pixoto isn't an actual photographic site were quality is appreciated but a social media game, the cons are greater than the pros, at least for me and especially as long as the technical problems continue. Alarming is also that payment requests have been ignored for quite some time now. Or if you are lucky to get paid for a monthly winner you really have to fight for it. This simply isn't right.

Thank you for feedback Mia, we appreciate it. And thank you for suggestions also. As you know we are currently in maintenance mode, but we will surely take your suggestions into consideration.

  • They probably should just disable the idea button since they are not considering any ideas anyway.
